Summary

The workshop methodology allows participants to begin to develop an Action Plan for their organisation based on the information and skills they have developed during the workshop. This gives them a tangible benefit to take away from the day and is also a basis for further development of their new knowledge and skills. Managing for Sustainable Development means they are better equipped to take their business organisation forward during increasing environmental challenges and the social and economic challenges that will arise as a result. These managers will also be better able to make strategic decisions that will benefit their organisations and provide long term benefit to society and the wider world. Participants will be eligible for follow-up support for 3 months after the workshop. This will further increase the likelihood of them implementing some SD aspects and beginning to see the benefits.
